Prerequisites For Wavlink Access Point Setup
The specific prerequisites for setting up a Wavlink Access Point may vary depending on the specific model and configuration. But generally, you will need:
- A Wavlink Access Point: First and foremost, you will need a Wavlink Access Point device or a router or repeater that can be set up into Access Point mode. Make sure you have the correct Wavlink Access Point model for your needs.
- Ethernet Cables: You will need at least one Ethernet cable to connect your Wavlink Access Point to your router or modem. If you have more than one piece of Ethernet cable, it will be handy for you only. It is important to ensure that the cable is long enough to reach both devices. And there are no cuts and bruises on it.
- A Computer or Mobile Device: Without a WiFi device, like a computer, laptop, or mobile phone, you cannot complete the Wavlink AP setup. You will need it. One thing that you require to ensure is that your WiFi device has an updated browser. And it should also be functioning at its best.
- A High-Speed Internet Connection: Your router or modem must be connected to the internet for your Wavlink Access Point to function properly. Poor internet connection may lead to buffering and delays.
- Network Information: You must have your Wavlink network information like SSID and security key to complete your Wavlink AP setup. This information is usually printed on a label on your router or modem.
